RCD Local Working Group Survey

The Rosebud Conservation District is looking for local input on where to focus our work and help NRCS target Farm Bill funds in upcoming years. We are gathering your input via survey included here.

We have received interest in conservation projects regarding the Yellowstone Irrigation District, coal seam fires and livestock water improvements in the Big Porcupine and Little Porcupine watersheds. Input from landowners and land managers regarding these types of projects is key to us being competitive when seeking grants and focused conservation funding from NRCS. Input and feedback are welcome year-round, however, requesting and receiving conservation funding is a long process. The sooner we hear your concerns and ideas the better opportunity we have to get funding in a timely fashion. Input received now may be applied to funding applications making monies publicly available in 2025.
